I hear Dino Coffee beans are really delicious. What's the difference between Dino Coffee and supermarket beans?

We carefully select the farmers and importers from whom we source our raw coffee beans. Only when we've roasted several batches ourselves and deemed the bean good enough do we feature it in our webshop.

Furthermore, supermarket beans are often roasted months ago, meaning many of the unique aromas and flavors have already evaporated. We roast in small batches, often only after you've ordered. This ensures our beans are always fresh, with a much richer flavor and aroma. You can always find the next roasting date at the top of our homepage.

What do you mean by 'Specialty Coffee Beans'?

For our "Specialty Coffee Beans" selection, we only purchase specialty coffee with a score of 85 points or higher (SCA score). This means our beans are free of defects and have a complex flavor profile—think notes of chocolate, fruit, or nuts. Naturally, these beans are also organically grown and traded according to Fair Trade principles.

I don't have a grinder. Do you sell ground coffee?

Yes, you can specify whether you want whole beans or ground coffee in our "Coffee Beans" selection. Grinding the coffee beans just before brewing is the best way to ensure optimal flavor. That's why we've chosen to offer our more exclusive Specialty Coffee Beans only as whole beans.

Do I have to be home for it? Will it fit through the letterbox?

Yes, we package the coffee in letterbox-sized boxes whenever possible. So you don't need to be home for delivery. Please note: for orders over 500g, we will have to package your coffee in a box and ship it as a standard parcel.

How long do coffee beans last?

Freshly roasted coffee lasts up to 12 months. To enjoy the best flavor, we recommend letting the coffee rest for at least five days after the roasting date to allow it to fully develop its flavor. From that point on, and up to four months after roasting, the coffee is exceptionally delicious.

How quickly will my order be delivered?

We roast once or twice a week, depending on the order. You'll usually receive your order within 5 business days. Due to the recent surge in our online store, it may take a little longer. Rest assured, your order will be prepared with the utmost care and attention. Check our homepage for our next roasting date.

I really like Dino Coffee! Can I subscribe?

Yes, but you don't have to. You can simply order a one-time sample. If you like it, you can start a subscription later, so you'll never be without coffee. If you're on vacation, for example, you can easily pause your subscription.
